Rock, Blues & BBQ!!!

Where can a person go on a Sunday evening to listen to some great music while eating amazing BBQ? RIGHT HERE at the Birdie & Carol Harris School of Performing Arts!!

Everything is coming together for our very first "Rock, Blues & BBQ" Music Festival, Sunday, September 25, from 4-7 pm. Local musicians will take the stage at 4:00. At 5:00, the Emily Johnson Band (EJB) from Sioux City will be entertaining everyone with their award-winning style of Blues, complete with a horn section. Our own Kevin Linder is sure to blow some screamin' high notes on that trumpet of his! TopDown will round out the music at 6:00 with a set of Classic Rock - This is the band I play/sing in, and if you've been around BCHSPA while we rehearse, you for sure know that we love what we do!

Meanwhile, you will be able to EAT!! Pulled Pork and Pulled Turkey sliders are the stars of the menu, which will also include some delicious sides and dessert! Prepared and served by our own "K&J Custom Catering" crew these guys know what they're doing!

Admission for BCHSPA students is free - $10 for others (age 8 & under - free), and the food is $5 per plate - Expect generous portions! Proceeds will be used to Stay tuned for news on raffles, as well as details on door-prizes and other goings-on!
